Leisure in Torrevieja

Tabarca tour from Torrevieja and Santa Pola

Visit the smallest island in Spain. Our proposal for the weekend. The island of Tabarca is one of the most beautiful natural attrations in the area and the only inhabited island in the Valencian Community.

How to get to Tabarca? There are several possibilities, from renting a private boat to scheduled excursions by jet ski or speedboat. But today we propose a more economical, confortable and in which you can enjoy the seabed during the trip, the ferry.

The ferry is the most used transport to reach the island of Tabarca. It has more trips and schedules available throughout the day. You can observe the seabed and the wonderful unique Posidonia fields in the area from the bottom floor of the ferry.

Once you have arrived on the island you can enjoy activities such as spending a day on its beaches, diving, snoorkeling in the marine reserve of Tabarca, swimming or entering its small caves in kayak. In addition to enjoying one of the biggest attractions of the area, eat one of its famous rice dishes with fish in the restaurants of the island.

How to catch the boat to Tabarca? Here we leave you a list with the ferry schedules of Torrevieja -Tabarca or Santa Pola- Tabarca, although it is always good to consult since it is possible that due to weather or breakdowns there may be some change.
